On windows 7:
- CLOSE THUNDERBIRD.
- Open the address book from the backup eg: R:backup123\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles
- Select the profile eg: 6sdgakb6.default
- Find file: abook.mab
- Select Start menu.
- Type: %appdata%
- Open: Thunderbird\Profiles
- Select the profile eg: 6sdgadf6.default
- Replace file: abook.mab
Open Thunderbird
